Getting Started with ABA Services: What Families Can Expect
Early support can make a meaningful difference in your child’s growth, confidence, and future development.
We’re here to guide you every step of the way. Here’s what the process looks like when beginning ABA services with us:
Submit Your Interest Form
Parents or caregivers start by completing the form on our website using the “Start Your Child’s Evaluation” button.
Initial Review
Our team carefully reviews your information and checks current availability.
Follow-Up Contact
We will reach out by phone or email to let you know the next steps, whether we can move forward right away or if your child will be placed on our waitlist.
Intake & Documentation
If we are able to proceed, you’ll receive an email with intake forms to complete.
At this stage, we will also ask you to provide any clinical documentation (such as reports from a neurologist or psychologist).
Insurance Authorization for Assessment
Once your paperwork is complete, we request authorization from your insurance provider to begin the initial assessment.
Scheduling the Assessment
After insurance approval, we will contact you to schedule an appointment with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), who will conduct your child’s assessment.
Comprehensive Assessment
During this step, we learn about your child’s strengths, areas of need, and important skill goals. This helps us create a personalized treatment plan.
Treatment Plan & Insurance Approval
After the assessment report is completed and reviewed with you, we submit it to your insurance provider to request authorization for ongoing therapy services.
Approval to Begin Services
Once treatment is approved by your insurance, we are ready to begin ABA therapy for your child.
Therapy & Ongoing Support
Therapy begins with a strong focus on:
- Your child’s progress and growth
- Regular communication with caregivers
- Continuous updates to goals as your child develops
While timelines can vary, the full process typically takes about 30 days from the time all required documents are submitted to when services begin.
