RBT Certification Training Requirements

Age Requirement and Education

You must be at least  18 years old and hold a high school diploma

Background Check

Complete and pass a Level 2 background check

40-Hour Training

Complete the required 40-hour RBT training

BACB Account

Create a BACB account and apply for RBT Certification

Competency Assessment

Complete the Initial Competency Assessment with a BCBA

Board Exam
